ABOUT US

We exist to see God’s people well equipped in communicating His Truth across cultures and effective in the task of making disciples of all nations.

CrossView Australia is a non-profit organization that helps followers of Christ to evangelize, disciple, and plant churches among the neediest peoples. We work with a large network of ministry partners in seeing the task of the Great commission (Matt 28:18-20) accomplished.

Though our focus is firmly towards church planting among least-reached people groups, we are also conscious of many other desperate needs throughout the world. We are glad to support, in any way we can, efforts to see God’s love and His amazing Word being shared effectively everywhere, whether among the impoverished people of the world’s megacities or with refugees who come to find a better life here in Australia.

Our efforts as a team involve training and facilitating cross-cultural workers, bringing awareness and education to the local church and wider community, as well as contributing towards numerous support projects and ministries.

We are committed to:

1. Promoting
We pass on information about the needs in least-reached people groups and what it takes to see churches planted among them that go on to maturity. We share about the challenges of cross-cultural communication and discipleship. And we let Australian churches and individuals know about the opportunities for them to get involved. In the process, we share resources with churches and their members about how they can be more effective cross-cultural communicators in their own communities.

2. Equipping
We partner with sending churches to equip their members by connecting them with a network of experienced field practitioners and by coaching participants through an extensive curriculum. We then help them connect to a range of ministry contexts and teams and offer advice as they make a choice. Throughout this equipping and sending process, we consult regularly with their local churches. Then, once they’ve moved into cross-cultural ministry contexts, we help as needed to see that they are supported, guided and cared for.

3. Supporting
We seek to develop and maintain relationships with like-minded churches, ministry teams, training facilities and mission agencies around the world. We also invest financially as we’re able, in opportunities and projects that promote cross-cultural ministries and that contribute to a greater understanding in Australia. We are also glad to encourage innovation and creative solutions that further God’s global purposes.
